Are you thinking of buying a GPS? Or have you got one and want to get the most out of it? Perhaps you just want to better understand topographic maps. Then join us on our 4WD Navigation training sessions coming soon.

Map construction and scale;
- Contours and other representation of topography;
- Grid references and geographic co-ordinates;
- Direction finding;
- Map orientation;
- Locating your position;
- Route planning and Navigation; and
- Understanding GPS.
You will get plenty of hands-on practice with GPS, compass and protractors.
The course will consist of two 3-hour sessions held at night over two weeks, followed by a full day of practical map reading and navigation.
Cost: $130 per Person
Bring: Covered footwear and refreshments, and lunch for the practical session. You will need your 4WD for the practical session. Otherwise, we will provide everything you need. However, if you wish to use your own, you are welcome to and will need:-
- GPS
- Compass
- Maps
- Fold up chair
