Our new look Cape York adventure is now a 24 day tour into one of Australia's most sought after 4wd destinations.
We kick off this tour at Innisfail where we travel out to Tryconnell via Herberton, Lappa and Dimbulah before spending a relaxing first night at the old Tryconnell Gold Mine. On the road for the second day it is onto Mt Mulligan before making our way out to the Palmer Gold Fields and our night under the stars in Maytown.
On day three we will explore the old town of Maytown before starting our journey up the Cob & Co track into Jowalbinna.
Our Palmer Valley adventure over it is then into Laura for a quick refuel before making our way to Musgrave Station and then onto our two night stop over at Meluna Station. Once set up at Merluna we will take a drive out to the fishing settlement at Aurukun.
From Merluna we will then make our way over to the mining town of Weipa and for those of you who wish to a mining tour and fishing tour can be arranged and on the other day we will make a trip up to Mapoon visiting the famous Stones Crossing on way home.
For the next six days or so we will travel the Telegraph Track to the tip stopping in at Twin Falls and Elliot Falls. During our stay at the Tip we will stand on the tip of Cape York, take in the sights of Seisia, Somerset and Bamaga as well as a trip to the Islands.
On our journey out of the Cape we will stop off at Fruit Bat Falls, visit Cpt Billies and Bramwell Station as well as drive the French Track down to our visit to Chilli Beach.
From Chilli Beach we will then make our way over to Lakefield National Park and a day visit up to Bathurst Bay. From Lakefield it is over the Battle Camp Road to Endeavour Falls and a day trip out to Hope Vale.
From Hope Vale we now start our journey home as we visit Cooktown, The Lions Den, before meeting up with the Walker Family for a tour of the Bloomfield Falls.
From the Falls we now travel the Bloomfield track as we make our way to our final stop at the Daintree.
